Phil Harte meets up with mate Gerard Butler

HERE'S a little piece of international gossip from former local and now Dubai resident Phil Harte.

Jetting in on Friday to oversee the Classic Weekend at Sanctuary Cove in aid of 4asdkids, he told how he had spent a few days with good friend, Hollywood heartthrob, he of the broad Scottish brogue, Gerard Butler.

The pair became friends after Gerard spent time filming Nim's Island here in 2007.

"Gerard is very excited about being one of the producers of his latest film Law Abiding Citizen," said Phil.

"He described being a producer as a fantastic experience and said the movie is going very well in America.

"He also told me that all that press about he and Jennifer Aniston was nonsense, but understands that it is all part of being in Hollywood where everything you do is blown out of proportion."

I'm assuming that's an old pic?

Phil Harte is a chef and hospitality expert. He hates bad service. Apparently service is horrible in Australia.

I started to say that was a young-looking Gerry in that photo--suprisingly so if it was taken just two years ago.
