Today is a sad day in my world. My dear friend lost her father to cancer this afternoon. She caught a flight and made it to his bedside in West Texas around 2 pm today. He passed about an hour later.
This season is a great time to spend time with family and let them know how much they mean to you. My heart breaks for my dear, dear friend.

To life, family and friends. May everyone make the most of this holiday season!

Hold on to what is good, even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe, even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do, even if it's a long way from here.
Hold on to your life, even if it's easier to let go.
Hold on to my hand, even if I've gone away from you.

Pueblo Indian Prayer

Here's to your good friend's father ~

Sending sympathies to your friend and family. It's always hard to lose someone, especially during the holidays.

Prayers go out to your dear friend and her family. It's wonderful that her Father "waited" to see his daughter before he left this world.

Exactly, PJ! I'm so glad she got to see him first. I'm so sorry for your friend and her family, Dallas. I know what a horror cancer is. May God be with your friend.
