| http://www.holymoly.com/celebrity-news/gerard-butler-goes-groucho-club-gets-stalked-women41256/page-1.html Gerard Butler goes to The Groucho Club, gets stalked by women Fri, 27/11/2009 - 11:08 By Mopsa Take a minute, if you will, to spare a thought for Hollywood actor Gerard Butler. Not only can he command a few million quid to star as the same character in another romcom, socialise with as many beautiful females as he likes in exclusive clubs, drinking champagne and eating canapes all the time, he also gets chased by adoring women when he goes out. That poor bastard... The Scottish actor, recently celebrating his birthday at a club with free booze with a bunch of ladies he'd probably never even met and got paid for it, got pissed off with the women who seemed overwhelmed to be just breating the same air as him, and reportedly lost his patience before shouting "you know what, you got to get a f*cking life, if that's what you're about."Charming. And who does he think he's talking to, Jodie Marsh or someone? Meanwhile other celebrities, who avoided being pounced on by women and celebrated Thanksgiving at The Groucho Club, included Butler's date, Natalie Imbruglia (whoa there on the botox), human aardvark Kimberly Stewart, Jon Culshaw, Stella McCartney and Sharleen Spiteri... | |

| This article is confusing....his birthday party was a week ago, not last night. - Quote :

Brits don't celebrate Thanksgiving, it's an American holiday.

That would be celebrating getting rid of a bunch of deadbeat Colonists and their offspring who would otherwise live on British Welfare money. Gerry yelled at women fans? What did they do? Grope him?

Wow, that's depressing...but I doubt that people nowadays think about that in their celebrations.

The colonists who left the UK for religious freedom etc and whose offspring fought for British independance and freedom from taxation without representation , were deadbeats who would otherwise be living off of the government? I don't get this statement ....

| Spin, folks! Spin! The reality of July 4th is not a happy in British history. That's a spin to make the date more palatable. Plus sarcasm. US independence cost the British Empire lots of money. They lost their investments.
Just watched the video. He didn't seem to mind all the flashes going off all the time, or whoever it was taking that video walking behind, beside, ahead of him. Only difference I noticed was the high pitch squealing by those 2 gals. I personally can't stand high pitches. Maybe that's what bothered him.

| Well, if so...GOOD FOR HIM! In my mind, FINALLY! YAY!
Although holding hands with another guy passing a sig just makes one think too, no?
And don't they wear their ring on the opposite hand somewhere in Europe?
I used to wear a gold wedding band back in the day when I went to family hosted events, that had other invited, non-family islanders. Just didn't want to bother or make up excuses.

Can't say I blame him at all for turning on them. Some dumbasses give women a bad name. The pap that fell in the rubbish (yes, a pap fell in the rubbish trying to get pictures of Gerry that morning) claims the reason Gerry yelled at those chicks is because they grabbed his ass. If that be the case, I don't blame him one bit. - Quote :
- The girls were saying they were in a band or something??? They wanted to kiss him on the cheek but pinched instead!

http://www.twitter.com/ltmills BTW, I will be posting pics of the pap in the rubbish...that was magical.

He was groped! That's sexual assault!

| I thought it was called trash, not garbage. You know, if a female was walking down the street minding her own business at 3:30 in the morning and some guys started running after her and groping her, they'd probably either get their lights punched out or get thrown in the slammer for assault. Just sayin'.... | |

| Another article. Interesting quote about New Years Eve.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2749475/Gerard-Butler-gives-thanks-and-then-rants-at-fans.html
THANKSGIVING clearly wasn't on GERARD BUTLER'S agenda outside London's Groucho Club last night.
The Scottish actor lost his rag with a pair of female fans as he left a dinner held to celebrate the US harvest festival.
Watch the incident unfold in the video below.
Pursued by his eager followers, the Law Abiding Citizen star flipped his lid when they refused to back off and sternly advised them to "get a f****** life".
NATALIE IMBRUGLIA and KIMBERLY STEWART were in better spirits after the swanky Thanksgiving meal, smiling as they left the venue.
Though Nat seemed preoccupied with sniffing her hand for some inexplicable reason.
Meanwhile, Gerard has revealed his plans for New Year's Eve - a pagan-style party back home.
He said: "I think I'll go back to Scotland where the family are, see some friends in Glasgow, and then go up to the highlands.
"The last two New Years I've spent in America, but up to then, I spent every New Year in the village where my family live. They have a big pagan festival, it's kinda great.
"The pipe band comes out, all the villagers build these floats with themes, and light up these huge torches, and they set them on fire and go around the village.
"Then they chuck them in the river, which is basically them casting out the evil spirits for the year.
"I might even put on the 300 costume. I'll be there as Leonidas, carrying a stake."
Sounds more terrifying than The Wicker Man...

| I think it would be tough crashing his village celebration. They're all his people and will protect him (mostly). Unwelcomed people (evil spirits) will probably be burned with the floats and chucked in the river.
If you plan to crash that party, wear kevlar skivvies.

| I'm glad he's going back to Scotland for New Year's. The Scots do it big.(Hogmanay) I just wish he wouldn't have told the press, as I'm sure there are some "people" who know what village he speaks of.
And LJ, I agree about the fact that his people will watch out for him. And it's not smart to mess with a Scot. I know I wouldn't want to be the receiver of the Glasgow Kiss!
