Gerard Butler overwhelmed by Glasgow welcome at premiere
Scottish actor Gerard Butler brought a bit of Hollywood to Glasgow on Sunday night with the premiere of his latest film Law Abiding Citizen.
Hundreds lined the streets outside the Cineworld complex to catch a glimpse of the former Glasgow University student as he posed on the red carpet before a screening of the film. He even incurred the wrath of the local constabulary, running out onto a gridlocked Renfrew Street to greet fans penned in on the other side as cars and buses waited at the traffic lights.

Random: I don't think I've ever seen Gerry chewing gum on the red carpet or in interviews before(?)
I take that back, I think he might have had gum on the red carpet in one interview at the NYC LAC premiere, but then must have spit it out, because he didn't seem to be smacking it later. (I remember thinking that my mom would smack me upside the head if I spoke in public with chewing gum in my mouth. Some childhood lessons haunt you forever.) Anyway, just a random observation that he seemed to be chewing it the entire red carpet.

Nerves?
Personally, I don't enjoy watching grey mush going round on spin cycle in someone's mouth.

Gerry's sending Julie secret kilt messages. It's kinda like smoke signals, only weirder.
You're welcome, JH! Happy to oblige.

gads!
We were watching Dear Frankie at the Gman local get together on Saturday, and I realized that THAT woman reminded me of the librarian who runs after Frankie, yelling at him, without knowing he was deaf.
Yeah...
