The season and series premieres of TV shows for this fall are starting to air. YAY!!

I just want to highly recommend Zooey Deschanel's (from 500 Days of Summer, ELF, etc., etc.) new show on FOX Tuesday nights called New Girl. She's so charming and likable, and the show's hysterical.

Actually, several shows on FOX are going to have me glued to the TV on Tuesday nights. Two that are returning as well. Glee, New Girl, and Raising Hope....the trifecta of awesomeness!

I'm bummed though that I forgot to watch Ashton Kutcher's debut as Charlie Sheen's replacement on Two and a Half Men. How'd that go?

I'm not sure, I never got into that show. I tried, but it just wasn't for me. I'm sure some here probably watch it though.

I've been watching Doctor Who. Then again, I always watch Doctor Who. Smile

I watch Glee. I saw New Girl. I like that Zooey's character is pretty offbeat, but she's way out there for me. I felt like slapping some common sense into her. I don't know if I can stand her roommates for too long. I have never been single and on my own so I don't relate to anyone there. Probably will have it on after Glee while I play Warcraft but not really watched.

As for Glee, I'm miffed about Sam Evans and Blaine.

I love dinosaurs so I'm looking forward to Terra Nova on Mondays on FOX. People on polluted earth travel back in time to the dinosaur times to start over.

I watched the Emmys last Sunday. Way too many non-Americans won Emmys. It's like the voters voted for all the non-American accents nominated. I was disgusted.

How did Jane Lynch do hosting? I just love her. Though I didn't care enough about the Emmys to actually watch.

The only new show I've watched so far is "Unforgettable", but it was.

Guess I'm just a little tired of look-at-poor-me-I've-got-a-special (strange, quirky) ability-so-I'll-be-a-cop shows. Or maybe I just wasn't charmed by this one.

Jane was good. The material they gave her was inconsistent. Some segments were good, some were mediocre, and some sucked. There were also many awkward pauses between the live hosts, announcers, and entertainers, and the beginning of the recorded things.

For example, a live person on stage said,
"blahblah are great actresses."

*live person stares into camera during silence...1 sec...2 sec...3sec...

TV graphic that said "Actress in a Supporting Role" spins onto screen,
and disembodied full announcer style voice said,
"For Best Actress in a Supporting Role, the nominees are..."

This happened a lot, even to Jane. The jokes given to the announcers were also lame.

All in all, the Emmys sucked for me. The writing sucked. The live editing sucked. The awards sucked because they all went to things I don't watch, half of which I've never heard of, and way too many foreigners.

I haven't watched the Emmys in years, but wanted to see Jane hosting. Well, no more Emmy watching for me. I'll catch the best bits on YouTube from now on.

Well, I guess I didn't miss much then, Julie.

They really do recycle the same types of clichéd characters, don't they?
