Sharabella, I am a southern girl too even though I lost my accent years ago and I encounter my fair share of people with family trees without branches!

People are going to end up marrying their third cousins and having babies with fur ...
I live in Kentucky. I know those people.
Do they howl at full moons too, Sharabella?

This gives a whole new meaning to the "food fight."

RIP Peter Falk, the Detective Columbo. The last thing I saw him in was The Princess Bride, the grandfather leaving the grandson's room saying "As you wish."

Oh that is sad, Julie. He was a terrific character actor.

He was always a pleasure to watch, and a credit to his craft. He will be sorely missed.

I was just a kid, but I remember watching Columbo sometimes on TV. My dad would always tell me how his trademark was to act like he was finished interviewing a witness/suspect, but just as he's about to walk out the door, say something like, "Oh, just one more thing..."
I also loved him in The Princess Bride. I can hear him saying that line at the end, and the loving way he said it to his grandson, perfectly in my head now. So moving!
What a lovely thing to remember as being the last thing you heard him say, Julie. A nice tribute.

RIP Dick Clark. Can't believe he was 82. I still see him daily on GSN hosting the $25,000 and $100,000 Pyramid. *does a Dick Clark salute*

He really was an icon, Julie. RIP
I remember that episode of Friends where Monica and Ross had this dance they made up from when they were kids that they wanted to get filmed on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve. Doesn't that sound right?
