Since I'm hogging the ComicCon thread, and I'm not even going, lol, I thought I'd start an L.A. thread.

I booked a relatively cheap non stop flight and I'll be staying in Hollywood for four days.

I found a hotel steps away from the walk of fame, so I'll be able to walk or take a bus anywhere I want to go. Alice, if you're coming, I'll be happy to book a double!

Arriving July twenty first and leaving the twenty fourth. If' G's premiere is outside of those dates, I'm going to personally slap him upside the head.

Don't they usually have the premiere about a week or so before the actual opening? I thought the opening was July 24.

In my observations, premieres usually happen a couple of days before the actual release date. Regardless, I miss the ocean and I need to touch base with it.

According to TUT's website, the North American premiere is July 24th.

Well personally, I'm through making an effort to see Gerry in person. If he happens to be somewhere I am, so be it. But I'm not going to go out of my way anymore. Too many bad luck/bad timing scenarios, and too many bad experiences in general have left me more than a bit shellshocked.
