You're so right, Alice. Speaking of good actors, Nay reminded me of a beautiful moment in film when she posted that clip of a train scene down below. Watch this, then think of what Michael can do in a role like this.

Been busy with Cannes stuff again. Tarantino's movie premiered today, or earlier today, and although it's been a battle between critics on whether the movie was good or bad (and who really listens to critics?), Michael's performance has been widely and collectively applauded.

Your career can't get better than standing next to Brad Pitt, no?

Soooooo Hollywood...

Yeah, I've just been oogling all the pictures. He's just so happy out there now. Lots of great smiles and excitement.

It looks like the US premiere will be in L.A.. The movie is released on Aug 21st, so the premiere should be around Aug.

May have to make a day trip to L.A.

I was thinking...

Oprah loves Brad Pitt and Michael Myers-both in the film. Don't know if she's a Tarantino fan, but if she really isn't going to retire this year....

Gads, could I not love the guy more?

Best Party moment:

Watching Robin Wright Penn, clad in cream Chanel, burn up the dance floor at the beach-front party for Inglourious Bastards. Michael Fassbender joined her and the pair partied to Prince and Michael Jackson. The actor removed his Dior jacket and slung it over his shoulder, then zig-zagged up and down the dance floor. Robin, a member of the official festival jury, didn't let up till going home time-around two in the morning. Very impressive.

I want to go dancing....

Cannes: Brangelina, Carrey and Pattinson Hit Croisette

Wednesday night some badly needed star power arrived on the Croisette for the opening night of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. Brad Pitt did the press rounds during the day, and showed up at the black tie premiere with Angelina Jolie on his arm. Later they had a great time at the late night beach party, hanging in the jammed VIP corner with Robin Wright Penn, Til Schweiger, Eli Roth, Emile Hirsch, Michael Fassbender (who was grooving to Guns 'n Roses), Daniel Bruhl, Harvey and Bob Weinstein, Thierry Fremaux, Bryan Lourd, and Hylda Queally.

Fassy grooves to Guns N Roses? A man after my own heart.... Smile

This guy's career is REALLY going to take off with this, I believe. It could even push him to A list, if he gets offered the right roles.

When he gets as big as Brad Pitt, perhaps I can start whipping out my TIFF picture with him. lol! j/k
