Gerard Butler worked up a sweat on Saturday as he worked out in LA with his girlfriend Morgan Brown at SoulCycle.

The 300 star, 45, was so hot after the gym session he even ditched his trainers and was spotted walking in socks along the city's sidewalk.

While the actor wore a sleeveless shirt and long Adidas shorts, Brown, 39, showed off her flawless physique in a cropped top and calf-length skinny leggings.

The brunette model turned interior designer kept her Nike athletic shoes on and also rocked a baseball cap over her long hair.

Butler had clearly put himself through an intensive routine as he was red-faced  and his spiky hair was wet with perspiration.

He chugged a bottle of water as he exited the gym with his bulked up muscles on show for all to see.

The Olympus Has Fallen star has been dating Brown for about a year and the couple are often seeing enjoying water sports such as surfing and paddleboading together off the coast of Malibu.

The 39-year-old also joined the Scottish actor at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.

He was there to support the film Septembers Of Shiraz starring Salma Hayek and Adrien Brody which he co-produced.

Butler will be returning to the Canadian city next month to shoot his new film The Headhunter's Calling that he'll star in as well as produce, according to Variety.

The trade also reported that he'll be joined in the movie by Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina.

Butler arrived back in LA on Thursday from another out-of-town trip and was seen leaving the arrivals terminal at LAX.

On Friday, he was spotted out and about in LA with a male friend.

Action man: Butler will next be seen on the big screen in London Has Fallen, scheduled for release in March 2016. He reprises his role as Mike Banning in the action thriller about a plot to assassinate world leaders

Back home: On Friday, the actor was seen enjoying an outing with a male friend after arrving back in LA and was dressed causally in jeans, sneakers and a long-sleeved khaki shirt

A man of many outfits: Gerard was seen later in a checked long-sleeve, khaki cargo shorts and sandals

Gerard Butler shows off his buff arms while leaving an intense SoulCycle class on Saturday (September 26) in Los Angeles.

The 45-year-old actor was joined for the workout by his girlfriend Morgan Brown.

Later in the day, Gerard and Morgan were spotted grabbing a bite to eat together in Malibu.

His next film is London Has Fallen, which is a sequel set during the Prime Minister’s funeral, where his character, Mike Banning, discovers a plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders.
