Gerard Butler is handsome as he touches down at LAX Airport after arriving from a flight on Monday (February 17) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old actor made sure to sign autographs as he was greeted by a crowd of fans while making his way through the terminal.

That same day, Gerard was spotted rocking a furry brown coat while chatting with an individual on his cell phone in the East Village neighborhood of New York City.

On Monday, Gerard Butler was not at his most fashion savvy as he stepped out in New York City donning a wooly sheepskin coat that looked like a reject from the American Hustle wardrobe department.

But later that night, the 44-year-old actor stepped up his game as he landed at the Los Angeles International Airport looking much more chic in an edgy leather jacket.

The Olympus Has Fallen star seemed to have worn the same jeans, teaming them with a matching blue scarf draped round his neck that set off his blue eyes.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gerard is in talks to star in the remake of the classic 1990s surf film, Point Break.

The remake will take place in the world of extreme sports as opposed to in the Southern California surf scene of the Kathryn Bigelow directed original.

He will play Bodhi, an expert extreme-sports athlete and bank robber who pursues nirvana through accomplishing great athletic feats - a character originally undertaken by Patrick Swayze.

Keanu Reeves will not reprise his role as Utah in the original Point Break, telling BBC 5 live last month: 'Absolutely not. It's not my place.'

The actor added in regards to remaking the film: 'If they can find a way to do it that works out good, then God bless them.'

Gerard will also star as Set, the merciless god of darkness in the 2016 film, Gods of Egypt.

He will also star in London Has Fallen, sequel to his action adventure hit, Olympus Has Fallen - this time taking place in London.

He’s never in one place for too long, and Gerard Butler made the long flight from New York City to Los Angeles on Monday night (February 17).

The “Olympus Has Fallen” hunk wore a black leather jacket with a blue scarf, blue jeans and a grey shirt as he signed autographs for fans outside LAX International Airport.

Gerard spent the past few days in Manhattan, picking up on the latter portion of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week Fall 2014 and enjoying some down time.

In career news, Mr. Butler will star with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Geoffrey Rush and Brenton Thwaites in “Gods of Egypt,” slated to hit theaters on February 12, 2016.
