Gerard Butler: Soccer Aid for UNICEF!

Gerard Butler shows off his sports skills as he participates in the celebrity Soccer Aid football match for UNICEF on Sunday (May 27) held at Old Trafford in Manchester, England.

Bend it like Butler!

The 42-year-old actor, who graciously played for a good cause, was joined by dozens of stars including Edward Norton, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell, and James McAvoy.

The event, which featured Hollywood stars and soccer legends, was a huge success as it helped raise $6.46 million for the charity.

Despite the good match, there were some intense moments during the game as both Will Ferrell and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay were injured during the match and taken off the field.

Another story and pics at I Need My Fix:

Gerard Butler Moons Manchester, Gordon Ramsay Falls HARD

Clarification of the title is probably in order, isn't it? Ramsay didn't fall for GB because GB mooned the crowd although we wouldn't hold it against him if he did. Gordon Ramsay got tackled by professional baller Teddy Sheringham in yesterday's charity Soccer Aid match in Manchester, England that saw the angry chef carried off on a stretcher. Will Ferrell also got injured and had to leave the field limping in the game that was in support of UNICEF.

Our Scottish hottie Gerard Butler was also playing in the match (as Sheri had informed you he was there) and teasing us with mooning the crowd but keeping his pantaloons on. Oh, Gerry, you tease us so.

Take That's Robbie Williams organized the game that see's England versus the Rest of the World which also included Michael Sheen, Mike Myers, James McAvoy and Edward Norton.

Thanks, Dallas.

That photo of James McAvoy and GB looks more loving and affectionate than the one at Loch Lomond, don't ya think?
