Gerard Butler's NYC Chow Down Session

Taking some time to relax in the big city, Gerard Butler was spotted out and about in downtown NYC on Wednesday (April 11).

The Scottish hunk looked dapper in a long pea coat and scarf while sporting his usual facial scruff as he grabbed a bite to eat with a friend.

The relaxing bromantic lunch date comes in between quite the busy work schedule, as Butler is set to release four new motion pictures before the year's end. One of the upcoming motion pictures, "Movie 43," is a feature-film comprised of short comedy segments.

With big names such as Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Chloe Moretz, Kate Winslet, Richard Gere and Naomi Watts also taking part in the project, "Movie 43" is set to hit theaters on October 17th.

Enjoy the pictures of Gerard Butler walking in downtown New York City (April 11)

Gerard Butler, out of rehab, gets coffee — and a pack of fans on the side

GERARD BUTLER is still a hot commodity — even though it seems to pain him. An out-and-about source tells us the actor was “mobbed” by eager fans of all shapes and sizes at Think Coffee on Bleecker and Bowery around 4 p.m. on Tuesday while trying to enjoy a cup of joe.

According to our eyewitness, the fawning didn’t seem to please the beefcake-y Butler. “He just looked sad about it,” says the source, “like he was thinking, ‘I just want to drink my coffee, guys!’” The recently rehabbed Scot eventually tired of all the attention, barked ‘Let’s go!” to the “bro” with him, and sought shelter in the John Varvatos boutique next door.

On Monday night, Butler was spotted roaming the “Darling Companion” after-party at the Tribeca Grand hotel without a wingman — or woman — for most of the evening. Maybe he just needs some “me”

Looks like the same day he attended the MICHAEL SAGATO "Delirium Tremens" Opening at Joseph Nahmad Contemporary.

Beautiful turnout

British billionaire Sir Philip Green loved painter Michael Sagato’s “Delirium Tremens” works so much that he jokingly told organizers at the exhibition’s opening he’d buy every piece so everyone could start the after-party. Sagato’s show, which includes paintings of models in various stages of undress wearing a pink elephant head to cover their faces, opened Wednesday night at the Joseph Nahmad Contemporary gallery in SoHo. Partygoers including Gerard Butler, Russell Simmons, Nicky Hilton and Tony Shafrazi also marveled at how many beauties showed up. “It’s like a Category 5 model hurricane in here,” remarked one dazed observer.
