That stinks, Shar.

Buddy, you look like our Annie when she gets on our bed. You look very comfy. Very Happy

PJ's back!!! bounce Hello dahling, how art thou?

I had no idea possums could cause so much trouble, Shar. Are they extra vicious in the northern hemisphere because ours here seem to be shy yet noisy, not destructive I thought. However, I can understand why you'd be worried that you slept through that event. Good to hear your fight back measures worked but I think it's time to get a mean ol' junkyard dog.

Julie, how are they hanging?

DK, congrats on your mighty winners! I'm so glad you got a fun night on the streets.

Random:

The beagle sleep over last night was not completely smooth but better than I thought. Biggest problem was that Bud just couldn't leave her alone. Every time she wanted to walk around the house at night or go outside for a moment's tinkle privacy, he was all about stalking her. She eventually settled into her beanbag in my doorway where Bud kept an eagle eye on her from his comfy position on the end of my bed.

Honestly, they made me laugh so hard. Their little personalities are so cliched - masculine/wimpy and female/bossy. She guards my house better than he does.

Where to start?

Can't get a dog, got kittens. A possum can be very destructive, especially inside a building. They are dirty and very large. They chew on things. (And poop in one's laundry room, where one can step on it---in bare feet)

"DK, I'm so glad you got a fun night on the streets."

That sounds as if her corner had a very busy but profitable evening,

I know better than to answer for Julie's hangings.

"She guards my house better than he does."

Well, naturally.

No hangings.

I'm watching G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Hundreds of people get shot, stabbed, exploded, etc., but no one bleeds or spills guts or brains. That's how they get rated PG-13. It's super violent with no bodily harms. They either don't show the deaths or they disintegrate into sparks. Explains why little boys think they're immortal and jump off buildings and moving cars and such.

Well, Nay, mine art isn't that great, but I'm trying. Laughing And, yes, I'm back, but you know how long that lasts. RL has been stepping it up quite a bit lately. But that's ok too.

How's about youse? (to quote you)

Hello everyone!

I'm on vacation this week. Happy

Yesterday my family came over and helped me work all day on outside home improvements.

The first fun thing I'm going to do today is take my cat to the vet. Rolling Eyes

Then I'm going to buy a pumpkin...and maybe some wine.

Tonight I plan on staying in and watching scary movies. I'm all tuckered out from working and partying, so it will feel good to sit and relax.

Anyone have any Halloween plans?

Well, our hip hop happenin' day is to hopefully get our washer fixed and then just handing out treats to the kiddies. Two of our grandchildren and parents, of course, already came by trick or treating before school. That was a nice surprise.

Maybe we'll crack open a bottle of wine, later, too!

Have fun, DK and enjoy your time off.

I decided on a bottle of Captain Morgan rum. I need rum after shopping at Wal Mart. Rolling Eyes

A wise friend talked me through something today. It certainly helped explain my need for so much chocolate lately.

Raise your glass please everyone "To good friends, who carry you when you need it."

Betch, you didn't!

Endorphins can be delivered in many man-made, less messy ways!

Random:

The next question to ask myself is: Should I manoeuvre too or will it debase me?

Things that make you go .... hmmmmm.

Come on over!! I have some rum left. At any rate, I have quite a bit of wine.

I'm being very productive during my time off. I did quite a bit of painting and staining outside. It was a nice day and we won't get very many more of those before winter.

PJ, I'm sorry RL has been giving you some trouble lately. We're here if you want to talk about it. I'm glad you're back, even if only for a little while.

Nay, we expect a report on the outcome of this covert move you've made (for world supremacy perhaps? Laughing )

Life is always better when PJ is around. cheers

Em, I thought world domination had already been achieved by those trashy Kardashians. My 'covert move' involves much less hairspray and collagen. Rolling Eyes Although, I can do a fake smile when required.

Kid had been practicing Rudolph and Jingle Bell Rock and Let It Snow for over a month now. Doesn't bother me. I know all about learning new songs for performances. I saw a Hershey's Kiss Christmas commercial 3 days ago. THAT bothered me.

Walmart has Christmas candy out. I know two people who put up their trees this weekend. They also sing along with the Christmas music. I want to smack them upside the head.

Random:

The plumbers have come and gone and it cost me $150, but I can now take a shower without dread of fighting the knob to get the water turned off. I'm pleased.

I wish all the commercialism would go away. Even for just one year.

The other thing I want to go away is the Attack of the Charities. They all come out at the same time and call you and assault you and bombard you and guilt you into giving to their causes. Why do they all have to attack us at the same time? I'm going to ignore the Holiday Charity Attack Squads and only continue with our regular year-round charities. Those are the ones I truly believe in.

How come they don't ask for donations around Easter? Or Valentine's Day? Or Labor Day? Or in April, or May, or June, or July, or August, or September? I'm more likely to have an extra few dollars then than around Christmas when I have obligations to meet.

Maybe next charity phone call I get I'll ask them for money.

On a related note, I got a call last evening that's a survey of how I feel about the current National Debt. I hung up on them. That's my answer.

Yay for shower control, Shar! cheers

DK, all the tinsel and other crap is out for sale here now. Seems too early for me but then my focus is on surviving until end of work year. Good luck with "Project Rescue Kitty Cats". You do realise it will be more mouths to feed, don't you?

JulieJulieJulie ... I'm not sure how Valentine's Day would be a better time to ask for money though. Personally, I would be suspicious that it was just going to pay for someone's dinner date ... Laughing
