Gerard Butler Parties 'Gangnam Style' with Psy!

Gerard Butler wears a newsboy cap and rides his bicycle on Wednesday (September 19) in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.

The 42-year-old actor reportedly partied over the weekend with pals Leonardo DiCaprio and Stacy Keibler along with “Gangnam Style” singer Psy after his surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live.

The group sat in a VIP section in the Meatpacking District’s 1Oak, but didn’t get up and dance when “Gangnam Style” played that evening, according to the New York Post.

Last week, Gerard attended events at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.

Actor Gerard Butler did his bit for the environment on Tuesday when the health conscious actor shelved his much cherished Harley Davidson for a cross train styled bicycle as he biked it around New York.

Whether he was opting to shed some pounds, or just left his trusted steed in LA was undetermined, yet the actor adopted a very co-coordinating outfit regardless.

In his matching T-shirt, trousers, leather jacket and newsboy cap, he took the term 'going green' quite literally.

During the outing, the actor was spotted chatting with friends while locking up his east coast ride on the Soho pavement.

A keen athlete, whether surfing, motorcycling or cycling, Butler has flexed his athleticism throughout his film career.

Recently he was spotted on a motorcycle ride with co star Jessica Biel in Malibu.

A grueling workout routine also helped him build an amazing physique for the movie 300.

While he has been in several movies, his biggest starring role was as Spartan King Leonidas in Frank Miller's adaptation of the graphic novel.

Butler's routine for 300 was developed by Mark Twight, a former mountain climber.

Twight, who believes in high intensity training, had Butler perform a circuit training workout as well as non-traditional exercises like tire flipping and gymnastics ring training.

One month before filming began, Butler enlisted the help of another trainer, Franco LiCastro, a Venezuelan bodybuilder.

In addition to this, Butler began sword fighting to prepare for his role.

And because of the nonstop workout, the actor eventually over trained and after filming abandoned working out for eight months.
