Gerard Butler Plays The Field with Dennis Quaid

Gerard Butler hits the set of his new movie, Playing The Field, on Tuesday (April 19) in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The 41-year-old Scottish stud was joined by his co-star, Dennis Quaid, and several kids who played members of a boys’ soccer team.

Earlier in the month, Gerry arrived in Shreveport to get to work.

Gerard’s character is a former pro soccer player who coaches his son’s soccer team to try and bond with him…but he’s got to dodge romantic advances from soccer moms!

Gerard Butler: "Playing the Field" in Shreveport


Kicking off another work day, Gerard Butler was spotted filming scenes for “Playing the Field” in Shreveport, Louisiana yesterday afternoon (April 19).

Joined by costar Dennis Quaid, the “P.S. I Love You” stud looked sporty in his blue Adidas top with white athletic shorts and a tousled coif.

Earlier this month, Gerard and costar Jessica Biel decided to hook the cast and crew of the movie up with some delicious treats.

They ordered 13 dozen cupcakes from nearby local market Cush’s Grocery, in an effort to show their appreciation as well as support local business.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Is Back to Work with a Smile

Catherine Zeta-Jones is back in action and looking great.

The actress, 41, who revealed that she'd been diagnosed with and treated for bipolar II disorder, is already back to work – and beaming.

Zeta-Jones appeared to be all smiles Wednesday on the Shreveport, Louisiana, set of the comedy Playing the Field, which also stars Jessica Biel and Gerard Butler.

She's also already lined up her next project: Zeta-Jones has signed on to star in the film version of Rock of Ages, PEOPLE confirms. She'll play the wife of the L.A. mayor, a conservative character who wants to do away with rock and roll, according to Deadline.com.
