For those of you that don't know, I do the occasional low-tech sketch. Not really good enough to be called portraits, so I call 'em Scribbles. This is my first (and so far--only Rolling Eyes ) Gerry scribble, but don't worry, I have been told that I get a little better with practice.

So Here Goes---Gerry #1

This is great, and I'm so happy and honored that you decided to share your talents with us!

For those of you who might not know or be aware of, a few of Sharabella's "scribbles" (as she calls them) were auctioned off at a couple of sci-fi conventions a year or two ago, and raised quite a bit of money for charity. Of course, being the humble person she is, she'd never tell you that....but I will!

I love to draw and I can walk/chew gum at the same time...I sing by myself and my friends did the same to me at kareoke too, but I was smart enough to turn the mike off prior to the song...so I lipped sync the song while they sang it...lol...I tend to freak out when I'm in front of people...I was traumatized in 3rd grade...had to play Santa...didn't want to...had to sing too...didn't want to...now I hate the stage...lol

It's not Gerry (obvioulsy)...It's Dave Navarro. I haven't drawn any portraits for a long time, I'm out of practice. The idea of doing Gerry is rather intimidating. (doing as in drawing. Actually doing him is much more appealing Twisted Evil )

Actually I have won the priveledge of singing in the Grand Choir when I was a member of the Rainbow Girls-2 years in a row-HA!(tmi) and I sing all the time, usually made-up bullsh!t that I can't remember all the words to so I just make it up and keep going. I sing special songs to my kitty. Quite frequently my hubby chimes in or I just hear him singing some kind of tune in the basement when he does the laundry. Laughing

LOL....how cute, beguild!

STEPH!!!!! You got the "inner light" perfectly. I don't know Dave, obviously, but I love it when an artist captures an inner beauty.....or soul....whatever.

In other words....the painting or drawing isn't just one dimensional.

TEE....show off some of your Gerry drawings! I KNOW you can capture him.

Hi there - Kimmy & Steph -!!

Excellent -- work by you both !!

Kimmy - very beautifully done -- You captured G very well !! --
very soft & subtle & pensive of him -- You really got all his

lovely facial features down !! -- Ya know somehow to me

your sketch reminds me of the photo of Gerry - years back
when he was swimming - wearing those cute little black
swim trunks (meet me wid yo black drawrs on -- hee hee)
with the white string --very well naturally acentuated --
with his own essence -- shall we say... hee hee

(I must say -- Twisted Evil ) -- y'all know which photo I

speak of -- someone post it -- please...

Hey - Steph -- I love your drawing of Dave Navarro --

very well done -- indeed !! - You captured all his fire & hottness

musically and physically -- you're very talented Girl --

don't hold back -- do one/some of G.... would love to see...

awe... Leo -- "gosh ..." (Tee shrugs/blushes a bit)

thanks for you kind words about me drawing... -- means a lot !

Lord knows --- G can cause quite the stirr /fever in emotions --

on any of us -- eh... it's good to have an creative outlet --

to let those emotional juices -- spew -- so to speak... -

Ms. Leo -- your quite the talented writer -- of passions/feelings/and matters of the heart especially the way you write Erik --

your words being your media & paper/computer being your

canvas !! -- Your very talented Lady Leo ...
