Producers from MGP to speak at Film Fair

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or under movies - MGP. There was a tweet about Gerry speaking on Saturday. However, I don't know if that is "official" or if the tweeter thought he was going to be there because producers from MGP are going to speak. If he is, then we can post subsequent articles, video, and pics under this thread. If not, then DK or Nay, please feel free to edit this post and move it.

Wayne State Offers Free Film Fair
Free Tech Fair, Networking Opportunity Set For Saturday

DETROIT, Mich. -- Aspiring filmmakers are invited to attend a free film fair Saturday at Wayne State University.

As part of the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival, this networking opportunity will give film students a chance to hear Emmy award winning producers lecture.

Participants can also attend classes that range from how to use special effects makeup to how to open your own independent theater.

Producers from Gerard Butler's upcoming film "Machine Gun Preacher" will participate in a panel discussion.

Vendors including Microsoft and Bunkspeed will be on-site to showcase their products.

The fair will run from noon until 5 p.m. at WSU's State Hall, 5143 Cass.

Parking is available at structure No. 1 all weekend and participants can register at the door.

That would be cool to attend.
