Lothario Gerard Butler is trying to woo gorgeous Kazakhstani billionaire Goga Ashkenazi. The Scottish actor, linked last year to Jennifer Aniston, has been in regular contact with the London-based beauty, a close friend of Prince Andrew, after they met at the Cannes Film Festival last month. And he was spotted visiting her West London mansion last weekend. A source told us, "Gerard was spotted chatting up Goga at a party in Cannes and they exchanged numbers." An Oxford graduate with a gold-mining and construction company, Ashkenazi isn't short of admirers. She once dated Italian Formula 1 boss Flavio Briatore and recently ended a relationship with Kazakh oil billionaire Timur Kulibayev, who is still married to Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev's daughter, Dinara. Butler's rep didn't get back to us and Ashkenazi could not be reached.

Glamorous billionaire socialite Goga Ashkenazi likes to boast she has 'a prince on one arm and a billionaire on the other', referring to her close friendships with Prince Andrew and oil magnate Timur Kulibayev, with whom she has a child.

But now the flamboyant Kazakh-born and Oxford-educated Goga, 30, is going to need another arm to accommodate her blossoming friendship with movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
For a pal of the tycooness - who lives in a £27million pad in Holland Park - tells me she is keen to plough her fortune into the film industry.

'Goga is investing in films,' reveals the friend. 'She was in Sardinia with her son last week and Harvey Weinstein flew in for 24 hours to have a meeting with her.'
Yet a spokesman for Weinstein was rather more coy about the connection, insisting: 'Harvey was in Sardinia for a board meeting for the Cipriani restaurant chain, along with Giuseppe Cipriani and Flavio Briatore. It seems Goga joined them for lunch one day. It was not a meeting about film investment.'
But it doesn't seem as though it will be long until they discuss their shared passion for films. Adds the friend: 'Goga moves in film circles. In Cannes she was hanging out with producers and people in the film crowd. She likes thrillers.'

Between Harvey Weinstein and Gerry, I think Gerry might have the better luck at "wooing" her in to investing in a movie. Sounds like she loves having her men.

Gerard’s a no Goga zone

Lurid reports have linked Goga Ashkenazi, one of London’s more intriguing bachelor girls, with handsome Scots-born Hollywood star — and noted ladies man — Gerard Butler. They are, alas, wide of the mark.

The Kazakhstan-born beauty, a close friend of Prince Andrew, was said to be enjoying a tryst with the burly star of The Bounty Hunter after they met at last month’s Cannes film festival. And ­Butler — who was reported last year to be dating actress Jennifer ­Aniston — was said to have been spotted leaving Goga’s palatial Holland Park home.
But glamorous Goga, a billionaire who made a fortune in oil and gas, is mystified by the rumours. ‘She knows many actors and actresses, a number of whom she met in Cannes this year, but she is categorically denying anything is going on with any of them,’ says a pal.
As for Gerard visiting her home, the friend tells me: ‘He has never even been to her house — she is 100 per cent single.’
Good news for many a jet-setting would-be suitor . . .
