LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Jennifer Aniston opened up to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush about her star-studded 41st birthday celebration, paparazzi on boats and a charity close to her heart, the Friends of El Faro organization. The multi-part interview will begin airing on Access Hollywood on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.

Bush was with Aniston in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where she was celebrating her 41st birthday at the One & Only Palmilla resort with friends, which included Courteney Cox, Jason Bateman, Sheryl Crow, Kathy Najimy and Gerard Butler.

The paparazzi were out in full force, but Aniston and her friends were not letting them ruin the celebration.

“Our gang, our party has been holding up these mirrors in support of helping to sort of disrupt their photographs,” said Aniston.

When Bush asked how turning 41 felt, Aniston joked that they don’t say the number out loud. When Bush joked back and asked how turning 31 felt, Aniston said, “Thirty-one, pssh. It’s quite lovely I have to say. 30 was a hump but you know 31 is fabulous. It really does get better doesn’t it?”

When the topic turned to fellow guest Gerard Butler, who stars with Aniston in the upcoming action comedy “The Bounty Hunter,” Aniston said that they had a great time working together.

“We just had so much fun together you know. He’s just fun. Gerry’s the most unpretentious guy,” elaborated Aniston. “He’s a guys guy, but he’s absolutely the most lovely and sort of self-deprecating and just what you see is what you get. We look at work the same way…we always had each other’s back.”

Aniston also discussed one of the reasons she came back to Mexico to celebrate her birthday, which her friend organized.

“He said to me, ’You come to Mexico all the time and Mexico is really hurting right now because of the swine flu and the drug trafficking and all of this sort of stuff but it’s not all of Mexico,’” explained Aniston. “These people survive on us coming down and spending money and coming here to these beautiful places.

“It sort of made sense to sort of say ‘Hey, let’s help out Mexico,’” continued Aniston. “Let’s shout out to these kids in Tijuana at El Faro and you know, have a big…that’s sort of our birthday celebration this year.”

Aniston was also in Mexico was to launch the Farita doll along with the One & Only Palmilla and her acting coach and friend, Leigh Kilton Smith, where proceeds from sales of the doll benefit the Friends of El Faro organization, which raises funds to aid children at the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.

“I have to tell you when you drive up to this place you see these kids come running out and you hear a chorus of (sings), and they are just bright. These kids don’t feel like they are sitting there going, ' Oh my life sucks, look at where I live.’ They have been given a lot of love and they’re getting educated, which is the most important thing for them is to have an education and have knowledge of what they can do.”

They must not have enough mirrors, because there have been plenty of pictures.

Come on Jen, admit it...you love, want, and crave the attention. If you didn't, you'd have found a less "public" place in which to spend your vacation....and you would NOT have put out that press release stating where you were going for your birthday, and who you were inviting. Does she think the general public has "village idiot" written across their foreheads?

I'm sorry I don't like Jennifer Anniston and I agree with what you said, above, DK. And I'm still trying to figure out how she got the title "America's Sweetheart".

Her PR people probably concocted that, too.

How many out there really think that she and Gerry are romantically involved? Just wondering....there is so much out there, it's hard to tell what is fact and what is fiction. Is this all for PR sake? Have they been involved all this time and just now making it really known? Has Gerry lost his mind? With no recent denials by either of them or anything coming from either camp, I was just wondering what all of you guys think...if you think that there is anything substantial here between them or if this is all for the sake of selling that damned movie??????

Well, the press and the "Entertainment " shows are starting to believe that they really are an item, now that they have been "caught" on vacation together. But do they say it was with a c***load of other people, as well? And I agree that it looked very showy...mirrors, indeed. Who knows, it might have been punishment for him kissing "violin girl". JA's camp has never denied the rumors. It's to her selfish advantage not to. And maybe GB has been told to keep his mouth shut now. Does anyone know if JA is one of the producers of The Bounty Hunter? (Katherine Heigel and her mom were executive producers of TUT). The one good thing that has come out of all this is that Gerry looks good in swimming trunks, again. Who knows, JA might have made him go on a two week "cleanse". So, no, I don't think they're an item.

This is my theory. It's the same old cr*ap JA pulls before each of her movies come out. That, in itself, is pretty desparate as her movies should be "pr'd" on their own merit. But who can say she has ever made a good movie? And I don't think The Bounty Hunter is going to be any better. She was smart to ask GB to be in the cast, as she knows his movies sell, just because he's in it. And if, by chance, TBH does do well, it will be because of him and not her. And she'll ride on those coattails as long as she can. Do you really think TUT would have done so well if Mike was played by anyone else? That's why I would love him to get away from those stupid rom coms. They're just glorified "Lifetime movie channel" movies.

Lovebirds leaving together. The pretend kind.

After a few days in Mexico celebrating her birthday, Fabulous at 41! was photographed leaving via private plane with Spittle and friends yesterday. This of course just days after Spittle made out with some random on the street in Venice Beach, much to the embarrassment of Jennifer and her publicist Stephen Huvane. Spittle was likely lightly admonished. And then summoned for the holiday conveniently in time for the tabloid cut off.

What tabloid cut-off?

Well, tabloids hit newsstands on Wednesdays. This means they go to print on Tuesday. Which means all photos have to be laid out by Monday. The photos of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler spending the weekend together in Cabo were widely disseminated on Sunday. Coincidence or conspiracy?

I know of at least one magazine that will feature these shots on the cover tomorrow. At least two more were considering it. Great free press for a movie.

All these sound like the only two people there were JA and GB.

I think the tabs make an issue out of it all because they are both single. I think Jen has been a target since the breakup of her marriage. Huvane, her PR guy, sucks and has probably fed the fire through the years (enough with the semi nude magazine covers, Jen!)but I do think that a lot of the tabloid crap is not deserved and is made up to sell rags. The woman travels with a bodyguard just to go out to dinner. Her life is that bad when it comes to loonies and paps.

As for this trip, she goes to the resort all the time. It's one of her favorite vacation spots. So I why she would want to go there and have a party weekend with 50 friends. The paps will hound her wherever she goes. And you can tell from the pics, that they were taken by boat with long range lenses, from the water. How do you prevent that?

I have to add, that I think both Jen and Gerry encourage a lot of crap PR. (Gerry has taken his manwhore image to a whole new level lately). And I am sick their fauxmancet and The Bounty Hunter PR.

But I think that Jen also gets a lot of undeserved bad press, i.e. the poor lonely woman who can't keep a boyfriend, and the comparison to Brad an Angie that is STILL going on.

Jen needs to quit with the racy photo spreads (which now include Gerry) and Gerry needs to clean up his image. They both are tabloid jokes.

Now I get it! The JAGB couple thing is a running gag!

So Jennifer's gang was hanging out in a 9,000/night villa with a 12-strong staff, including a personal chef and two butlers (three, if you count Gerry), a private infinity pool, a spa with Jacuzzi, its own terrace with fire pits, an outdoor rain shower and day beds, a Mariachi band, gorging on margaritas and guacamole, and all in support of helping to sort of help out the poor people of Mexico.

That's right, "shout out!" to the poor people of Mexico ... One doesn't necessarily have to be lacking in money to be poor ... and this comment was in very poor taste.

Cabo San Lucas and Tijuana are about 1,000 miles apart.

That's about 80 miles shy of the distance from New York City to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. For Nay, think about the distance from Brisbane to the northern coast of Tasmania.

Heck, I can go to Disney World and give a "shout out" to the earthquake victims in Haiti. I'd only be 900 miles from Port-au-Prince.

What bullshit!

I think most watch what they say and what they do in public. Otherwise all we would hear about would be celebrity BS all the time considering how many celebrities there are.

Where are the dirt on Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Denzel Washington, Hugh Jackman, Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Sandra Bullock, Isabella Rosselini?
