Now I'm giving my veterinarian expertise on the dog in the background Cool :
Although the head of the dog has the same brachycephalic features (which means deformed nose and huge forehead) as a pug has, the colouring of the coat and the ears indicate that this might be either a french bulldog or a boston terrier. In other words, I don't think this is Lolita!
Not that it is of any importance but: Has anyone else noticed his red eye? Looks like a burst blood vessel to me! scratch

That pic is part of the hotel decor. (It looks like a Boston terrier to me.)

Those picts were taken in the Soho Hotel in London - in one of their event rooms (called The Swirl Room). The plant/towel pic of Gerry hanging outside of a hotel window also looks like the exterior of the Soho Hotel.

(I recognized the hotel, in case you were wondering. It's a funky, cool hotel.)

Wow, you both have a good eye, Julia and Dallas!

Julia, as a vet, you should be our forum expert on all things Lolita!

And you're right, he does have a burst blood vessel in his eye. No fun!

How does one burst a blood vessel in their eye? I remember watching an episode of Hercules, and the same thing happened to Kevin Sorbo.

I've done it before, DK. It's kind of a gross story. I think I had been drunk and I threw up. I puked so hard the force from that strain caused a blood vessel to burst in my eye. Lovely story, huh?

It sucked because I was going to an acting school in NYC at the time back when I was 21, and I had a kissing scene to do with this guy for a performance we had. The poor guy must have been so grossed out looking me in the eye with that nasty blood thing (which I think might have been worse than G's) and then having to kiss me!
