Gerard Butler's Conserve Collection

Gerard Butler carries blackberry jelly with him wherever he goes.
The 'Ugly Truth' actor is a huge fan of the sweet conserve his mother makes, and never leaves home without a jar.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Gerard surprised folks at a coffee shop in New York when he placed an order for some toast, then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a jar of homemade jelly. He explained it's his mom Margaret's recipe and she ships it to him wherever he is from Scotland. He said he'd never tasted anything as good."
The 39-year-old actor was so keen to show off his mother's culinary skills he offered everyone in the eatery the chance to sample the preserve.

Gerard is not the only Hollywood star to carry an unusual item at all times.

Brad Pitt takes a toilet seat with him when he travels as he hates sharing them with other people.
A source said: "It grosses him out, not knowing who used the bathroom before him. So he takes his own to any unfamiliar house or hotel he stays in."

It would be easier to carry cleaners and/or disinfectant and/or paper covers than a toilet seat.

I guess someone else carries it for Pitt, as he usually has an entourage.

I've seen a folding travel toilet seat.

Hmm...a man who carries a piece of his mom in his pocket wherever he goes. Prefers his mother's cooking. Why is GB still single? He's a mama's boy!

Yep, Julie! Laughing

If the story is true, I find it charming. I guess that's one of the things he carries in that manbag of his. Wink

Are we sure National Enquirer didn't embellish the story and turn it into 'blackberry jelly' when it was really a Blackberry phone his mother bought him? Wink
