Gerard Butler shrugs off 'Real Housewives' star Kelly Bensimon for Rose Byrne

Kelly Bensimon was in for a taste of the ugly truth when she was apparently dissed by Gerard Butler, with whom she swapped numbers after a night of heavy flirting at the SoHo Grand in June. The "Real Housewife" looked upset when she caught the Scottish hunk flirting with "Damages" actress Rose Byrne at a Gramercy Park hot spot last week. Says a spy, "Kelly blocked Gerard from speaking to Rose and was flirting up a storm - but he couldn't have seemed less interested."

Later, Butler found Byrne, apologized for the awkward situation, and chatted exclusively to the pretty brunette in a private corner for the rest of the evening.

Too many women....what do you do?

Go for the dumb one. That way, she will be too clueless to realize she's being played by a player, and he won't get cockblocked by her later when he wants to score again with another chick.

And that....is the ugly truth.

Kelly is divorced but has two kids. Can you imagine Gerry taking that on? I can't.

BTW, isn't Rose living with her boyfriend of many years? Unless they have broken up recently, I doubt this story has any truth to it.
Although, Rose is beautiful and "Damages" is a great show...... Very Happy

Maybe Gerry and Rose were talking about India....

She was just on Craig Ferguson (have I told you all how much I LOVE Craig Ferguson? Well, I do. He's my pretend boyfriend).

Anyway she was saying how she had recently been to India -- had been on a three week tour with "her man"........

Wouldn't that be a great slip up??? But alas, she then said that he was Australian (as is she). They cut their trip short by a few weeks so that she could come back and film "Adam" with Hugh Dancy.

I'm sure her boyfriend really loved this story and how it was implying something with Gerry....

Rose's long-term partner/boyfriend, Brendan Cowell, is an Australian writer/director.

Still, his Lordship is moving up the 'social' chain if he is chatting to Australians. Laughing
